Take More Professional Smartphone Photos with the Square Jellyfish Smartphone Spring Tripod Mount
Taking good photos with a smartphone can be tough; especially if you're a Realtor who takes listing photos with your phone. A tripod can help you take better, more stable photos, and can drastically help when taking panoramic photos (where you have to move your phone in an arc).
Luckly, with smartphone cameras becoming better and better (almost rivaling DSLR cameras), you can now find tripod adapters for smartphones. These smartphone tripod adapters typically have a spring clamp that fit a variety of sizes of phones—all the way up to 6" phones. And since tripods have a standard-size threaded screw, smartphone adapters can fit onto any standard photography tripod (or monopod!).
The Square Jellyfish tripod system are purchased as separate pieces. You will at least need to purchase the Spring Tripod Mount. This is the piece that holds your smartphone with clamps. This piece can screw onto any standard, full-size tripod (such as the AmazonBasics 60" tripod pictured above) or monopod, or you can purchase the Square Jellyfish Micro Tripod or Pocket Tripod separately. These are portable tripods that can be set on a table or shelf, and have standard tripod screws that attach to the Spring Tripod Mount.
Never Be Without a Dead Smartphone or Tablet Battery
You've probably been in a situation where your phone battery is dying, but you don't have a charge cable with you, or not even something to charge from if you did have a cable!
The Kero Nomad Keyring Charge & Sync Cable is an extremely short (but portable), 3-inch cable for your phone that features a cap that loops onto your keyring. When not in use, the cable's USB end slides securely into the cap on your keyring. When you need to charge up, you just pull it from the cap, and the cap stays attached to your keyring so it doesn't get lost!
Kero Nomad cables come in both Apple Lightning (for iPhones, iPad, and iPods), and micro USB (for Android devices). If you're an Apple user with a Bluetooth headset, you may want to buy both for charging both devices (since Bluetooth headsets typically charge from micro USB).
The Astro2 6,400 mAh pack only has one (1) USB port, so it can only charge one device at a time. At 6400 mAh, it can provide 2 to 3 full charges to most phones.
The Astro2 9,000 mAh pack has two (2) USB ports, so it can charge two devices at once (such as a phone and Bluetooth headset, or phone and tablet). At 9000 mAh, it can fully charge most phones 4 to 5 times.
The biggest battery pack, the Astro2 12,000 mAh, features 3 USB ports, so it can charge three devices at once. It's 12,000 mAh capacity can fully charge most phones 5 to 6 times.
With your Kero Nomad cable(s) on your keychain, and your Anker Astro2 portable battery pack in your bag, you'll be ready connect your devices to charge them up when the time comes!
Drive Safely While You Use Your Smartphone with the iMagnet Car Mount
The iMagnet smartphone car mount was a holiday pick I shared last year. After a year with it, I have to say that it has been incredibly useful to me, so that's why I'm recommending it again.
The main reason the iMagnet smartphone car mount is so great is the ease at which you can literally slap your phone onto it, and your phone will stick. No difficult-to-use clamps, no sticky gunk.
The iMagnet mount mounts to your windshield (or dashboard if it's smooth enough) with a sticky, vaccum suction cup. The cup is both sticky and features a lever that creates a vacuum, so the grip is incredibly secure.
I have my iMagnet mounted in the upper-left corner of my windshield. I also ran a EZO 10-foot USB cable from my stereo, through my car's dashboard, up the windshield, and to the iMagnet. That means I can use my GPS navigation, make FaceTime calls, and listen to music from my phone, hands-free, while my phone charges!
